Reasonably large and compact room, really amazing stay!
Comfortable rooms, nice hot breakfast. Incredible and excellent location in Rome, short walk to a day's sightseeing, both Metro and city center, and Gallery. Good choice of food options at a short distance from the venue.

Good hotel with excellent wi-fi, friendly staff who helped return my forgotten headphones, a cute bar/lounge area, and air conditioning. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay! I'm coming back for Christmas.

Courteous staff, very good breakfast, quiet location - despite very central location, clean
small rooms, but due to the former character of the old building

Unique opulent interior design, free local smartphone provided, close proximity to metro and tram stations
Extremely small room sizes!!! Inconsistent temperature control making it uncomfortable sometimes!!! Lack of clear signage for facilities causing confusion!!! Limited services for laundry and ironing frustrating many guests!!!

This hotel has many touches that make it an excellent place to stay. This includes weather forecasts, chocolates on your pillow, homemade pastries at breakfasts etc. On the whole the staff are very friendly and accomodating, the breakfast is very ample and enjoyable and the location is excellent. We enjoyed the happy hour as we were very tired by 9 and ready for a nice cold beer and bar snacks.
The main downsides are the small rooms, tired bathroom fixtures and cramped seating in breakfast room. Overview - a solid 3 star with 4 star touches in my opinion.

The staff was very courteous and friendly. Altogether the stay was very pleasant, especially the proximity to all sights, everything can be explored on foot. We were especially happy that we got a bottle of wine at the expense of the house to the room for our birthday.
Only the service at the hotel bar could be more attentive.

The River Palace Hotel is in a very convenient location for the holiday travellor. It is close to the metro which is easy to use and within walking distance of other well known landmarks. The staff is very helpful, the rooms delightful, (we stayed in a superior room), the breakfast was delicious, and we loved the Happy Hour where we mingled with the other guests. The free internet use was welcome though I had trouble with the Italian keyboard. We would certainly choose this hotel again on a return visit. Eleanor and Ross Ferguson
